The QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care replaces the NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care course. This internationally recognized QCF is the equivalent of an A-level qualification and is the UK industry standard for those working in the adult care sector. The training course is for those who hold some responsibility in their workplace and work without supervision.

This QCF / NVQ Level 3 training course gives learners the essential skills and competency necessary to work with adults or children. The qualification is for workers in all social care settings, including primary care services, domiciliary care, residential care homes, day services, and assisting supported living.

Delegates will learn essential health and social care understanding. They also get the opportunity to tailor the course to suit them, choosing between the Adult pathway and the Children and Young People pathway.

The Level 3 course is available via e-portfolio, giving the student greater flexibility and the ability to learn at a pace that suits them.

Yes. The course is internationally recognized which allows you to take a leading role in an adult care setting. Once you successfully complete your course, you can use the diploma anywhere outside the UK.

You can still take the commercial course in the Level 3 QCF / NVQ Health & Social Care Training Course even if you don’t have work experience in care.

However, if you have no experience working in a care setting at all and no basic knowledge of care, it is best to start off with a basic course in Level 3 in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care before taking the Diploma. The good thing with this course is it can be completed by anyone and anywhere even outside the UK. The assessment is through knowledge questions and written work with no observations. Once completed you can proceed to complete the full diploma.
